Summary 2009

There year 2009 start a litlle bit strange for us.
Totally unexpected Martijn had tot go to Kosovo for his job for 6 months.
So Joyce started the year 2009 alone!

But Martijn made a lot of new friends in Kosovo!

And the 2nd month of 2009 was even more strange for us.
On friday 20th Februray, I received an e-mail about a 11 months old livernose boy,
who was looking for a new home. And the monday after that, I drove to Dresden,
to pick up Rusty.
 

I think this was the best and most special moment of the year!!

In 2009 we started showing Jinaki in the open class!
Not anything different for Jinaki, but a big step for me!

Jinaki and I participate in 28 shows all over europe this year.
20 time she achied an Excellent and 13 times also an placement!

We are very proud of Jinaki's results!

After Rusty found his place in our pack, we also start showing him.
Last year I wrote this about Jinaki and now I have to say about Rusty,
we had a slow start in youth class,
we also learned showing a livernose is more difficult than showing a black nose ridgeback!

Rusty and I entered the ring 22 times this year,
14 times Rusty achieved an Excellent and only 1 time without a placement!
 

The biggest achievement for Rusty and me was:

And of course there still is Jambo, our big boy!

With Jambo we had so much fun like always!
He is our sweet boy, who already turned 4 years old this year!

We also meet a lot of new friends this year!

I will say special thanks to some people this year, when they where not here,
I did not have my special boy Rusty with me now!
Ilse, for sending me an e-mail about, this boy;
Milada en Tom for the trust you have in us, and let Rusty move all the way to Holland.

And Martijn, my crazy husband, wich I called, while he was working in Kosovo,
to say that I want to give Rusty a new home! ~thank you~

And for the year 2010 we have so much new plans,
We slow down showing Jinaki a litlle bit.
Jinaki showed us what she was wort!
And Jinaki and I had lot of fun togheter in the ring, but I know it is not the thing she like the most,
so I deceided I will not show her very often anymore.
I think her first entry in the ring again, will be at the World dog Show in Denmark.
But you never know...

We will go on showing Rusty! Hope we can we receive some more needed points!

We will train our dogs more in agility this year, now we have our own agility stuff.

In June we planned a holiday to Denmark toghter with some RR friends!

And we will see what 2010 will brings us more.... some of the plans we cannot tell you right now
